F-Gas & ODS Regulations Training Course

This two day training course will allow service engineers to meet the regulatory requirements for recovery only of systems containing up to 3Kg of refrigerant (6Kg if hermetically sealed), which is suitable for both experienced and non-experienced candidates.

On successful completion of the course, candidates will be proficient in recovery of refrigerants contained within refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems and;

• will understand the associated hazards
  
• be able to maintain records and log books
  
• be able to handle refrigerants safely
  
• be able to dispose of recovered refrigerants and oil correctly

The two days are broken down into two modules, firstly the classroom based theory training, followed by the practical training. Each module concludes with an assessment.

Bespoke training courses, different from that mentioned above, can be arranged on request.

All or our F-Gas training courses are aimed at candidates with prior experience within the refrigeration / air conditioning industries. Candidates new to the industry may wish to attend an introductory refrigeration training course before attempting the City & Guilds 2079 qualification.
