This 'in house' training course follows the Health and Safety Executive Guidance (HSG139) to promote the safer use and handling of flammable service gases.
The aim of the training course is to increase the awareness of the potential hazards involved using flammable service gases (such as Oxyacetylene) and the precautions that need to be taken. The course is suitable for all service engineers and supervisors, from new starters to time served engineers with previous qualifications.
The training day is both classroom and workshop based.
The course covers;
- Design, Constructions and Provision of Equipment
- Handling and Storage of Gas Cylinders
- Special Hazards
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Operating Procedures
- Fire Precautions
- Examination and Testing of Equipment
The training course summarises with an ‘in-house’ theory exam.
The fees include all training notes & course materials, professional training, an attendance certificate, lunches and refreshments.
There is ample free parking on site
