The aim of this training course is to give candidates a better understanding of the principles of electricity as it applies to the commercial catering equipment found in todays kitchens.
- To understand how to work with electricity safely and abide by the relevant legislation and standards
- To understand basic electrical relationships with regards to Voltage, Amperage, Resistance & Power
- To understand how a variety of electrical components function and their purpose
- To understand how to use electrical test equipment and fault find
- To understand how to read wiring diagrams
Although prior experience is an advantage, this training course is also suitable for candidates who are new to the commercial catering service industry.
