The aim of this training course is to give candidates a better understanding of the principles of the service and maintenance activities as they apply to the temperature control equipment on the road, from light commercial vehicles to reefer trailers. The training course is also designed to recap on both the 'Principles of Transport Refrigeration' and the 'Principles of Electricity within Transport Refrigeration' training courses.
This popular training course is suitable for candidates who have previously attended transport refrigeration training courses, or for service engineers who have good experience within the industry and wish to further their skills.
The course entails both theory and practical workshop training, covering;
- Health and Safety
- Refrigeration
- Reading Wiring Diagrams
- Completing Service Paperwork
- General Service and Maintenance
- Refrigeration Service and Maintenance
- Electrical Service and Maintenance
- Fault Finding
- Legislation / Environmental Issues
As a prerequisite to attend this training course, candidates must have a relevant F-Gas qualification, and be able to show a good understanding of the principles of refrigeration and electricity.
The training course summarises with an ‘in-house’ theory exam.
Whilst this is a stand-alone course in it's own right, it is also forms the last of the set of the three 'principles' training courses;
- Module One ~ The Principles of Transport Refrigeration
- Module Two ~ The Principles of Electricity within Transport Refrigeration
- Module Three
~ Service and Maintenance within Transport Refrigeration
If all of the three training courses are booked at the same time (per candidate) and taken within a 18 month period, this third training course cost will be discounted by 25%.
Bespoke training courses, different from that mentioned above, can be arranged on request.
The fees include a comprehensive training manual, professional training that is second to none, all course materials, an attendance certificate, lunches and refreshments.
